If you are happy finding the location of the task, then just turn up. Wear suitable old clothes and sensible footwear. Remember to bring something waterproof to sit on plus some refreshments.
Arrive 10-15 minutes early to introduce yourself to the Task Leader and to fill in the membership form. A quarterly news letter can then be posted to you with all the forthcoming tasks, locations and contact details.
Remember conservation is not all handwork and you do not need any special skills or experience.
There is no obligation, just turn up for a task whenever you can and stay for as long as you wish. Work at your own pace and most of all, enjoy yourself in our lovely forest surroundings.
