GENERAL INFORMATION.
Be sure to bring suitable working clothes, waterproofs and wellies and a strong pair of gardening gloves, something waterproof to sit on (eg, bin bag) plus food and drink. For those who are unsure of where to go please ring the task leader.
The outlined task description is a guide to give you an idea of what to expect but quite often events overtake us and we may be given something quite different to do.
Please note that some Post Codes have been included to assist those with Sat. Nav. and give a general indication of the vicinity of the task and not necessarily the exact location.
Don't forget to keep up your tetanus jabs. If you have had a few over the years it is possible that you won't need any more.
Please arrive by at least 9.45am for a 10am start as often we will be moving on to the work site.

NORMANDY LAGOON,
LYMINGTON/KEYHAVEN NATURE RESERVE
Gorse management for nesting and roosting birds.
Meet at Open Day Field near Normandy Garth.
If arriving by car or bike, turn into Normandy Lane from All Saints Road. Follow the road south for about 1/2 mile and go past Normandy Farm (the red brick house on the left where the road takes a sharp right turn) Keep following the road around two corners until you get to a large gateway on the left hand side of the track. This gate will be unlocked so you can drive/ride through. Follow the track out to the end of the field and park cars to one side of the track.
This location has been changed due to Salterns Marsh being under water.
Please note the work area is relatively dry but the approach is wet and boggy so wellie boots are recommended.
